Old San Antonio Road

Meet at Williams Elementary School at Mairo and Blue Valley Dr. (one block east of South First Street and six blocks south of William Cannon) for a select-your-own-distance ride of up to 55 miles. The relatively flat out-and-back route goes through Buda, Kyle, and the thickly wooded Blanco River Valley to northern San Marcos.

 Truly gorgeous Hill Country riding. Moderate cumulative amount of climbing but  nothing outrageous. Lunch afterwards at the wonderful www.thymeanddough.com/   Approx. 50 miles. Ride start: Dripping Springs ISD. East on 290 to Dripping Springs. Cross RR12. Turn right on West Mercer/Loop 64. ISD is on the left; park well away from business parking.

Lunch At The Domain

Get an early start to the weekend with a Friday lunchtime ride at the Domain.
  • Meet on the sidewalk on the northeast corner of the intersection of Domain Dr. and Esperanza Crossing.
  • Ride starts at 11:30, sharp!
  • We wind our way up to Parmer, and then ride up to Avery Ranch or Brushy Creek and back.
  • Round trip is 18-19 miles.
  • Pace is usually around 17 mph.
  • Route is mostly flat, with a few short hills.
  • Ride is cancelled if the roads are wet.
