2012 ACA SUMMER PICNIC – AUGUST 04

Come join us for the 2nd Annual CPR Ride and Summer Picnic, aka the Second Annual Memorial Ride and Picnic for the Formerly Late Stanton Truxillo. This ride and picnic, with a free, hands only CPR class, was inspired by the life and brain saving CPR administered by a Good Samaritan when ACA member Stanton Truxillo suffered a massive heart attack on an ACA ride on August 3, 2010.

Last year, we trained about 50+ people on the “Hands Only” or “10 minute” CPR. The CPR class is free to all and will be held at approximately 12:00 noon at the picnic site.

The picnic will be from 10:00am to 2:00am in the pavilion just to the left of the entrance to Barton Springs Pool. The picnic will be a cook-out (with a vegetarian option) and will be $7.00 per person. To sign up for the picnic, please go to the event registration page or send a check for $7.00 per person to ACA, Attn Picnic, PO Box 5993, Austin, TX 78763. Be sure to indicate if you want the vegetarian option.

The ride will start at 8:oo am. Please go to the Hosted Ride calendar for ride details.
