If you still want to register, you are highly encouraged to show up at Liberty Hill High School (If you need directions here's a Google map to the venue) as early as you can muster. We should be ready for you around 6:30 am. The ride will begin promptly at 8:00. Please don't be late.

You can register tomorrow morning for the 14th Annual Armadillo Hill Country Classic at Liberty Hill High School starting at 6:30 am. The on-site registration fee for this fully supported ride is $40, and proceeds support bicycle safety education & free bike helmets for central Texas children. (The first 1000 registration packets contain an attractive AHCC T-shirt.)

The ride will start at at 8:00 am, so arrive early if you plan to leave with the first wave. There will be plenty of rest stops along the way, although the 100-milers will have one less rest stop than in past years, so they'll need to plan accordingly.

The temperature will start at around 72°F and skies will be overcast, but the clouds will burn off through about 1:00 pm, providing partly sunny skies. By late afternoon, there will be a small chance of scattered sprinkles and thunder, with the high reaching about 95°F. Winds will remain steady all day at about 10 mph from the SSW.

New routing and more rest stop support on the 105 mile route.

Also noteworthy is the 6.5-mile Kids & Family Ride with a separate starting point in Bertram where kids ride free with a parent or guardian who only pays $15 to ride. Registration for this kid-friendly ride starts at 9 am at the Bertram Municipal Park on Vaughn St in Bertram (see map below) The Kids & Family Ride starts at 10 am.

Hot food available for purchase after the ride.

One more thing. The showers at the high school gym will be available to you for free. So bring your soap and towel, and your family, and be prepared to spend a great day in Liberty Hill -- and without smelling like a wet poodle during the ride home.

The Armadillo Hill Country Classic will commence rain or shine. No refunds or rain checks.

Don't be late at the starting point either because riders attempting the 80, and 105 mile options must arrive at our 30-mile-point "Dillo Door" before 10:30 am. Otherwise they will be directed to continue on one of the shorter options. Armadillo Classic riders on-site registration & packet pickup begins at 6:30. The ride starts at 8:00 a.m.
